KENLY -- Margie "Monk" Barbee Hinnant, 75, 42 Beulahtown Road, died Friday at Wilson Medical Center.
A graveside service was held today at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Earp officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Hoover Hinnant; three daughters, Vicki Parnell of Kenly, Peggy Earp of Spring Hope and Geraldine Vick of Virginia; a son, Dennis E. Hinnant of Kenly; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
