CALYPSO -- Hazel Odom Johnson, 89, died Sunday at SunBridge of Mount Olive.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Calypso Cemetery with the Revs. Michael and Kimberly Ferguson officiating.
She was the daughter of the late John and Frankie Byrd Odom and the widow of the late Arnold D. Johnson.
She is survived by a daughter, Yvonne J. Tillman of Calypso; two grandchildren, Melissa Weeks and Gary Tillman Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Bruce, Earl, Ralph and Lacy Odom; a sister Mabel O. Kennedy; and a grandchild, Martin Tillman.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Tyndall Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of Yvonne Tillman, 119 Second St., Calypso.
