MARY E. S. PETERSON
The funeral for Mary Ellen Sampson Peterson will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with Bishop Alton Smith delivering the eulogy.
Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by a son, Jefferey W. Sampson.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Howard Peterson of the home; two sons, Vincient A. Sampson and Howard E. Sampson; a daughter, LaTasha R. Sampson; four brothers, Anthony B. Sampson, Lewis Howard Sampson, William D. Sampson and Robert T. Sampson; three sisters, Millie A. Boyd, Daronda Butts-Cox and Althea R. Grantham; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
