KENLY -- Homecoming services for Durwood Stancil, 306 Sixth St., will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Warren Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church of Micro with Pastor James Perry officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery of Smithfield.
He is survived by his mother, Hilda Stancil; three sisters, Claudia Sherrod and Shirley Stancil of Raleigh and Leora Owens of Kenly; and a brother, Emanuel Stancil of Clayton.
A viewing will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Warren Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church.
