Ms. Betty Register Wiggins, 62, of Oakland Church Road, died Monday at Duke Medical Center.

Ms. Wiggins was born in Wayne County to the late Ray Emmitt Register and Georgia Johnson Talton. She had worked with R.G. Barry of Goldsboro. Ms. Wiggins was a member of Whitley Church.

Funeral services will be tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Whitley Church with the Rev. Andy Stovall and Rev. Ferrell Hardison officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Ceme-tery.

Ms. Wiggins is survived by her son, Russell Lee "Rusty" Wiggins, Jr. and wife, Tessa, of Goldsboro; her daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Wiggins Tyndall and husband, Shawn, of Goldsboro and Lynn Wiggins Smith and husband, Brian, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Megann Tyndall, Garrett Tyndall, Macy Tyndall, Jacob Smith, Katie Smith, Jessica Hudson, Jamiee Hudson; her sister, Carol Register Bass of Princeton; her step-father, Needham "Shorty" Talton; her step-sister, Joan Osborne and husband, Joe; and her step-brothers, Roger Talton and wife, Julie, and Willie Talton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Edward "Ed" Bass, Sr.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association Memorials, Honor Program, P.O. Box, 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038-1132, the National Kidney Foundation, 5970 Fairview Road, 3 Fairview Plaza S-408, Charlotte, NC 28210, or to Whitley Church, 288 Whitley Church Road, Princeton, NC 27569.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service and other times at the home of her daughter, Lynn W. Smith, 365 Friendly Drive, Goldsboro.
