Jean Ellen Washington, 65, died Tuesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill. Burial will be in Best Family Cemetery, Warsaw.
Mrs. Washington is survived by her husband, Ronald R. Washington of Warsaw; one son, Christopher Harris of California; two brothers, Kenneth Best of Bowdens and Marvin O'Neil Best of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Ella Stewart of Fayetteville, Faye Johnson of Clinton, Md., and Emma Doris Newsome of Warsaw; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. on Saturday at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
