KENLY -- The funeral for William Ruffin Watson, 74, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. Dwayne Batten will officiate. Burial will be in Kenly Cemetery.
Mr. Watson died Monday at his residence in Gainesville, Ga. He was a former resident of Kenly.
His survivors include one son, Eugene Watson of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Brenda Kay De Vaughn of Jacksonville, Fla., and Eleanor Grey Pippin of Alpharetta, Ga.; one sister, Audrey Batten of Micro; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 on Saturday evening at Coley Funeral Home.
