MARTHA ADAMS

KINSTON -- Martha Harrison Adams, 83, of 901 Wallace Lane, died Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Adams was born in Greene County to the late Foye and Lenoir Leneave Harrison. She was preceded in death by brothers, Lynwood Earl Harrison, William Ray Harrison and John Roger Harrison Sr. Mrs. Adams was a retired office manager.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Painter and the Rev. Chris Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams is survived by sons, Otis "Jerry" Best and wife, Gloria of Goldsboro and Bordon Ray Adams of Louisburg; grandchildren, Laurel Janiece Clark and husband, Robert Matthew Clark of Kinston, Brooke Nicole Adams of Durham and Courtney Paige Adams of Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Matthew Ryan Clark and Joshua Aaron Clark.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and other times at the home, 901 Wallace Lane, Kinston.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
