FAISON -- Lessie Smith Foss, 92, of 505 Solomon St., died early Tuesday at her home.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Tyndall Funeral Chapel in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Wayne Goff officiating. Committal and burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Faison Cemetery.
Mrs.. Foss was the daughter of the late Harvey and Amanda Adams Smith and the widow of Jeffrey Foss. She was a member of Faison Bible Holiness Church.
Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey Jordan Foss and wife, Johnnie, of New Bern, Joe Foss and wife, Mollie, of Faison, and Raven Foss of Faison; three daughters, Peggy McFarland of Fayetteville, Joan Price and husband, Daryl, of Kenansville, and Linda Millard and husband, Joe, of Faison; a brother, Noggie Smith of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight, and other times at the residence.
