Willie Melvin Dickerson, a former resident of Fremont, died Monday at his residence in Newark, N.J.
He was the father of Melvin Amonda Dickerson, Limmie Dickerson and Minister Eric Dickerson; the brother of Leslie, Joel and Jolene; and brother-in-law of Bishop L.N. Forbes
The funeral will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Faith Temple No. 1 Original Free Will Baptist Church in East Orange, N.J., and Saturday at 11 a.m. at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle in Wilson. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Greene County.
The viewings will be at the churches during the hour prior to the services.
The family will receive friends on Friday and Saturday at 610 Lane Road, near Stantonsburg.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Wilson is serving the family.
