WALLACE --The funeral for Carolyn Ann Humphrey will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Adoram Baptist Church. Entombment will be in Rockfish Cemetery.
Mrs. Humphrey was a resident of Jacksonville, N.C., and was a former employee of the First Citizens Bank of Jacksonville. She died Friday at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Azelee Wells Stagg and was raised by her grandmother, the late Carrie Wells of Wallace
She is survived by her husband, Gregory O. Humphrey; sisters, Gwendolyn Borden of Hampstead and Barbara Stagg, Sandra Stagg and Darlene Stagg of New York; and brothers, Ricky Stagg, Jerry Stagg, and John Stagg of New York, Mitchell Austin and Jerry Austin of Atlanta, Ga., and Leroy Austin and Jimmie Austin of Wallace.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6:30 until 8 at Matthews Funeral Home.
