ETHEL G. ROUSE

LAGRANGE -- Ethel G. Rouse, 85, died Sunday at Classic Country Care.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Stancil officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery.

Miss Rouse was a native of Lenoir County and was a member of White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Leon and Gertie Outlaw Rouse, one Glennie Rouse; and four brothers, Thomas, J.B., James and Harvey Rouse.

She is survived by four nieces, Sue R. Raynor of Mount Olive, Peggy R. Pelletier and husband Eddie of LaGrange, Frankie R. Hardy of Snow Hill and Melony R. Brown and husband Larry of La Grange; one nephew, Thomas Rouse and wife Janice of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Shirley Rouse of LaGrange; two great-nieces, Melissa Hardy of Snow Hill and Melissa Haas and husband Jonathan of Pikeville; eight great-nephews, Mark Raynor and wife Wimberly of LaGrange, Gary Pelletier of Holly Springs, Brent Pelletier and wife Jennie of Raleigh, Brandon Rouse of Goldsboro, C.G. Hardy of Snow Hill, Christopher Hardy of Snow Hill, Matthew Brown of LaGrange and Christopher Brown of LaGrange; one great-great-nephew, Will Raynor; and one step-great-great nephew, Bobby Liles.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight, and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Brown, 1759 Jenny Lind Road, LaGrange.
