SMITHFIELD -- Bobby Kenneth Strickland, 70, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lloyd Hargis will officiate. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife, Mattie D. Strickland; one son, Kenneth Ray Strickland of Goldsboro; one daughter, Tammy Diane Lee of Smithfield; two brothers, H.B. Strickland and Charles E. Strickland of Clayton; one sister, Violet Davis of Smithfield; stepdaughter, Rhonda Beaty of Princeton; two stepsons, Tracy Walker of Greenville, S.C., and Curtis Walker; and one grandson and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wilbert Earl Strickland
The family will receive friends at McLaurin Funeral Home during the hour preceding the funeral on Friday.
