Elizabeth Smith Tyndall, 70, of Stantonsburg died Sunday at Wake Medical Center.
The funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Goff officiating. Interment will be in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Tyndall was the daughter of the late Theodore and Carrie Reeves Smith.
She is survived by three daughters, Sarah Tyndall Tamez of Stantonsburg and Deborah Heath and Elizabeth Ann Heath of Walstonburg; three sisters, Faye Moore of Wilson, Sadie Hill of Walstonburg and Edith Peacock of Clayton; four brothers, Loyd Smith of Princeton, Edward Smith of Deep Run, Robert Smith of Fremont and Larry Smith of Saratoga; and four grandchildren.
The family received friends on Wednesday night at Shingleton Funeral Home in Wilson.
