Steven T. Holland, 26, died Wednesday in Jacksonville, Fla.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home. The Rev. Glenn Mills will officiate. Interment will follow at Fellowship United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kenly.

Mr. Holland was born in Wayne County on Nov. 29, 1979. He was a member of Highest Praise Tabernacle in Princeton.

He is survived by his father, Ronnie C. Holland and wife, Darlene, of Goldsboro; his mother, Blanche H. Weaver and husband, Randy, of Goldsboro; one step-brother, Darrell G. Kornegay of Goldsboro; one sister, Kristie Jarmusz and husband, Greg, of Alabama; two step-sisters, Ashley F. Kornegay of Goldsboro and Summer Weaver of Goldsboro; his paternal grandmother, Mildred Holland of Goldsboro; two nieces, Taylor Grider and Ali Weaver; two nephews, Isaiah Ball and Phoenix Kornegay; special friends, Jim and June Scott of Goldsboro; and a host of other close friends.

Mr. Holland was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Cecil A. Holland and maternal grandparents, William H. Harris and Clara R. Harris.

The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. At other times, they will be at the home of his father, Ronnie Holland, 139 Radford Drive in Rosewood Acres.
