LINWOOD JONES
Linwood Carston Jones, 54, of 1208 Ruffin Terrace, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mark Church Ministries in Kinston. Apostle Melvin Parks will officiate. Burial will be held at Rockford Chapel Church Cemetery in LaGrange.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy Jones of the home; two daughters, Sherita Jones and Rhonda Russell, of Kinston; four sons, Lamont Wooten and Linwood Jones Jr of LaGrange, Ronald Russell Jr of Kinston and Michael Russell of Durham; two sisters, Catherine Dawson and Mildred Cannon of New Haven, Conn.; one brother, J.P. Jones of LaGrange; and eight grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from 2 until 8 p.m., with a visitation from 7 until 8 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home Chapel.
