EUNICE MOORING

FREMONT -- Eunice Woodard Mooring, 77, died Friday morning at Avante Nursing Home in Wilson.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Monday at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Mrs. Mooring was born in Wilson County on June 19, 1928, to the late Walter Woodard and Minnie Whitley Woodard. She was retired from Firestone of Wilson and was one of the founders of the Fremont Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Mooring of Fremont; one sister, Jean Beamon of Stantonsburg; one grandson, Darby Lee Mooring and wife, Chrisanna; one great-granddaughter, Megan Nicole Mooring.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mooring was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Mooring; one brother and two sisters.
The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
