Myrtle Lee Daniels Brock, 89, died Saturday morning at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Mount Olive.
Mrs. Brock was born in Wayne County on January 9, 1916, to the late Willie Daniels and Mollie Thornton Daniels. She was married to the late Perry Allen Brock. Mrs. Brock operated the Highway 13 Grill in Grantham for a number of years and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mount Olive.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Bishop Richard Brown will be presiding. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Brock is survived by her sons, Granger Brock and wife, Freda, and Danny Brock and wife, Lynette, all of Grantham; a sister, Lucille Byrd and husband, Leon, of Mount Olive; her sisters-in-law, Lillie Jackson and Vonnie Brock of Goldsboro; 17 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Morris Brock and Carson Brock.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Granger Brock, 244 Grantham School Road, Goldsboro.
