FAISON -- Everstine Evesta Thompson Brown of Durham, formerly of Faison, died Wednesday in Durham.
A funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m. in the Hill's Chapel MB Church, Faison. The Rev. Tony Harrington will officiate. Burial will follow in the family cemetery in Faison.
A viewing was held Saturday evening from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. at the Scarbough Funeral Home, Durham.
