The funeral for Elizabeth Cox, 88, of 104 Swan St., was held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Matthews A.M.E. Zion Church, with the Rev. J.W. Britt officiating.
Ms. Cox was the daughter of the late Arthur Best and Martha Cox of Goldsboro.
She is survived by two nieces and one nephew and their families, and other relatives and friends.
The viewing hours ere from 3 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
