Lemuel Vernon Harper, 70, of 747 Bill Sutton Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today at the Pink Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Lynwood Boyette will officiate. Burial will follow in the Harper-Southerland Church Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Williford of Pikeville and Verna Sebald of Albertson; three sisters, Milba Beyer of Albertson, Ada Moody of Fayetteville, and Irish Ballard of Richlands; and three grandchildren.
A visitation was held Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at Pink Hill Funeral Home.
