Willie Elmer Lassiter, 55, of Royall Avenue died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at
1 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Fu-neral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The Elder George Wiggins will preside. A private burial will be held at Spruill Cemetery.
Mr. Lassiter was born in Wayne County and was the son of the late John Lassiter and Lola Brown Lassiter.
He is survived by one brother, Donnie Lassiter of Fayetteville; two sisters, Rosa Fuller of Fremont and Mary Walls of New York.
The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Golds-boro and other times at the home his sister, Rosa Fuller, 203 N. Vance St. in Fremont.
