FOUR OAKS -- Connie Wayne Tart Jr., 19, of Jackson Road, died Friday morning.
He was a native of Wayne County and was the son of Connie W. Tart Sr. of Four Oaks and Grace Tart of Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a half sister, Bobby Jo Kendall of Four Oaks; his grandmother, Mary Stanley of Smithfield and four uncles and five aunts including Wade Tart and Leroy and wife, Bonnie Tart, of Four Oaks and Charlie Tart and wife, Bonnie, of Garner.
The funeral was held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Minshew Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Beasley officiated. Burial was in Barbour's Chapel Church Cemetery.
The family received friends on Saturday night from 7 until 9 at Minshew Funeral Home.
