PIKEVILLE -- Linda Carol Salas, 46, of 111 Lindsey Brooke Lane, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Salas was born in Youngstown, Ohio on November 18, 1958 to Wanda Albertson and the late John B. Albertson.
She is survived by her husband, Celso Salas; one daughter, Mara Salas of the home; her mother, Wanda Albertson of Pikeville; four brothers, Charles Burk of New Middletown, Ohio, James Burk of Struthers, Ohio, Thomas Burk of Cincinnati, Ohio and James Albertson of Beulaville, North Carolina; seven sisters, Grace Rogers of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Ann Hunter of Fountain Town, North Carolina, Betty Jo Mobley of Wallace, Margaret Moready of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Linda Kay Sanderson of Chinquapin, North Carolina, Janet Jones of Mexico Beach, Florida and Donna Farland of Pikeville.
The family will receive friends following the service on Tuesday evening at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro and other times at the home of her mother, 110 Lindsey Brooke Lane in Pikeville.
