MARY WEATHERFORD
Mrs. Mary Ann Pearsall Weatherford, 74, of 106 Danny Circle, went home to be with her Lord on Friday after enduring a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Weatherford was born in Wayne County to the late Virginia Ione C. Pearsall. She retired from Winn Dixie with 25 years of service and was a beloved and faithful member of Westwood United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Stewart. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Weatherford is survived by her husband, Samuel Weatherford; her daughters, Jenny Roof and husband Robbie of Florence, S.C., and Sharon Rathbone and husband Brett of Goldsboro; her son, Bobby Kennedy and wife Hope of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Mandy Wooten, Miranda Wooten, Brittney Kennedy, Austin Kennedy and Kayley Roof; her brother, Bill Pearsall of Goldsboro; and her sister, Betty Hankins of Goldsboro.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
