Irene Parks died Tuesday at Winthrop University Hospital in Minneola, N.Y.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Elm Grove Church of Christ. The Rev. Kenneth Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Ms. Parks is survived by her mother, Ossie Bell Parks; three sisters, Evelyn Hammond and Shirley Parks of Freeport, N.Y., and Joy Faison of Goldsboro; and one brother, Donald Wooten of Goldsboro.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 8 p.m. today at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home and the family will be present from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Wilbert Parks, 2709 Langston Drive, Goldsboro.
