Gladys Williford Worrell Richards, 80, of 1701 E. Pine St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late C. Daniel and Mary Etheridge Williford.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. David Harvin officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Richards is survived by her husband, Austin Richards; two sons, Danny Worrell of Goldsboro and Robert Lee Worrell Jr. of Moyock; two sisters, Annette Bailey of Saratoga and Mamie Farmer of Wilmington; and seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence.
