HENRY RADFORD JR.

JONESVILLE -- Henry Radford Jr., 71, died Tuesday at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Rad-ford was born in Wayne County to William and Ealia Elizabeth Sasser Radford. Before moving to Jonesville, he lived in Goldsboro and was employed with Rogers Furniture Co. He retired as a salesman with Electrolux Vacuum Corp. and was a faithful member of Charity Baptist Church in Boonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, and is survived by his wife of 45 years, Julia "Ann" Alexander Radford of the home, one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Radford Smith of East Bend; one son, Joseph "Bradley" Radford of Roanoke, Va.; two grandchildren; Daniel Joseph Smith of East Bend, Lauren Ashley Radford of Statesville, N.C.; a brother, James Malcolm Radford of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
The funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Charity Baptist Church. The Reverends Eddie Driver, Doug Radford and Bradley Radford will officiate. Mr. Radford will lie in state from 10:30 until 11, prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Charity Baptist Church Building Fund, 1500 Charity Church Road, Boonville, N.C., 27020.
