Margaret Ann "Peggy" Nichols, 69, sister of Donald Talton of Pikeville, died of cancer at her home in Garner on Tuesday.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Montlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lawrence Edward Nichols; two sons, Lawrence Edward Nichols Jr. of Monroe and Richard H. Nichols of Four Oaks; daughter, Kathy Macialek of Franklinton; three sisters, Kay Scites of Benson, Faye Combs of Siler City and Dorothy Brantley of Rocky Mount; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
