MARY ARTIS
The funeral for Mary Artis will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Mrs. Artis died on Tuesday, April 19, in Manhattan, N.Y.
She is survived by one son, Brian Hinks of New York; one grandson, Damionie Hinks of New York; her parents, Thomas Earl Carrol and Emma Mae Artis McCrae; five sisters, Cathy Robinson, Patricia McCrae, Crystal Cotton, Debbie Kennon and Jacqueline McCrae of Florida; four brothers, Calvin Carrol of North Carolina, Brian McCrae and Wilbert McCrae of Jacksonville, Fla., and James McCrae of Youngstown, Ohio; and one aunt and one uncle.
The viewing hours will be on Wednesday from 2 until 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home and the family will be present from 6 until 7 p.m.
