WILLIE LEE STEVENS
FAISON -- Willie Lee "June" Stevens, 63, of 253 Strawberry Patch Road, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Moses Chapel Disciple Church of Christ, in Faison. Dr. Laura Morrisey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cobbs Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Leavy and Minnie Stevens.
He is survived by one daughter, Sabrina Stevens of Richmond, Va.; five sisters, Evelyn Flanagan and Frances Barksdale of Faison, Julia Williams of Clinton, Geraldine Stevens and Nelda Stevens of Philadelphia, Pa.; six brothers, Joe Hill of Baltimore, Md., Charles Stevens of Washington D.C., Willie Smith of Richmond, Va., Cedric Barksdale of Raleigh, Larry Barksdale of Faison, and Johnny Stevens of Philadelphia, Pa.
A viewing will be held Monday from 3 until 8 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel, and one hour prior to the funeral service at the Church on Tuesday.
The family will receive friends at the home of Evelyn Flanagan, 1231 Warren Road, Faison.
