ANNIE ALLIGOOD

WASHINGTON, N.C. -- Annie Cutler Alligood, 74, mother of Alan Lane Alligood of Mount Olive, died Saturday at her home.

A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Coy Hoover Alligood Cemetery. Tony Krantz and Charlie Kent Alligood will conduct the service.

Mrs. Alligood was born in Beaufort County to the late Luther Cutler and Beulah Oden Cutler. She worked as a seamstress for 30 years at the Garment Factory and was a member of Beaver Dam Church.

In addition to her son, she is survived by her husband Coy Hoover Alligood; two other sons, Charlie Oden Alligood Sr. of Pinetown and Kermit Alligood of Washington; three daughters, Teresa Alligood Freeman, Derise Alligood and Katy Alligood Lilley of Washington; two sisters, Etta Cutler Chiampi of West Pittson, Pa., and Beulah Tatum of Crittenden, Va.; and 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence at 648 Mill Hole Road in Washington.
