HENRY E. BRITT

Henry Everette Britt, 80, of 317 Underwood St., Clinton, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Shook and Rev. Ronald Cava officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Clinton Cemetery.

Mr. Britt was born in 1924 in Sampson County to the late William Rufus and Lillian Bradshaw Britt. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the Woodman of the World and a retired maintenance operations supervisor with Hamilton Beach Co.

He is survived by his Wife, Cathleen Thornton Britt; two sons, Danny Britt of Clinton and Neal Britt of Youngsville; his stepmother, Sudie Britt of Newton Grove; three sisters, Allison B. Jernigan of Newton Grove, Nova B. Davis of Charlotte and Robin O'Brien of Spring, Texas; three brothers, William Britt of Goldsboro, Marvin Britt of Benson and Mack Britt of Newton Grove; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Royal-Hall Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Danny Britt, 706 Timberlake Drive, Clinton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina, 5950 Fairview Road, Suite 550, Charlotte, N.C., 28210; or to one's favorite charity
