MADELL WESTBROOK

ALBERTSON -- Madell Brooks Westbrook, 92, died Thursday at Windham Hall in Kenansville.

Born Sept. 1, 1912, to the late John Alvine Brooks and wife, Minnie Mathis Brooks of Duplin County, Mrs. Westbrook was the wife of the late Willard Westbrook.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbert Brooks and wife, Pauline, John David Brooks, and Norman Brooks and wife, Macbell.

She is survived by two step-sons, Anthony L. Westbrook and Keith Westbrook; one step-daughter, Brenda Huffman; one sister-in-law, Bessie Brooks; eight nieces and nephews, Gale Knowles, Linda Gore, Ann Kendall, Linwood Brooks, Earl Brooks, Clark Brooks, Wayne Brooks, Shawn Knowles; nine great-nieces and great-nephews, Lynn Miller, Katelin Knowles, Kevin Knowles, Bryan Brooks, Angie Brooks, Matthew Brooks, Mark Brooks, Bobby Gore, Robin Brooks.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Devotional Gardens, Highway 24/50 E., Warsaw.
