DAVID PARKS
The funeral for David Parks, 60, 0f 621-B Slaughter St., will be held by the graveside on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Old Mill Cemetery. The Rev. Barbara Stackhouse will officiate.
Mr. Parks died Tuesday at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Mount Olive.
He is survived by three brothers, Samuel McKenzie, Vernon McKenzie and Samuel Parks of Goldsboro; and four sisters, Elizabeth Jackson of Goldsboro, Sudie Purvis of Kinston, Sandra Darrelson of Hampton, Va., and Vivian Minor of Suitland, Md.
The viewing will be today until 5 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the home of Elizabeth P. Jackson, 1305 E. Elm St., and the funeral procession will line up there on Saturday morning.
