SHERRILL BARFIELD
SMITHFIELD -- Sherrill L. Barfield, 59, of 311 Collier St., died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Peters Disciple of Christ Church. Vice Bishop Richard Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Barfield is survived by his wife, Virginia Barfield of the home; a daughter, Toni Curry of Garner; a son, Cornell Richardson of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Hazel Barfield of Smithfield, Virginia Wadford of Goldsboro and Mittie Gulliaume of Smithfield; three brothers, Jesse Barfield and Mitchell Barfield of Smithfield and Edward Barfield; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be today from 2 until 7 p.m. at R.L. Sanders Funeral Home.
