BETTY WORLEY
Betty Lois Worley, 80, formerly of Princeton, died Friday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Johnston County on Feb. 29, 1924, to the late Joseph and Effie Tyner Jones Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Worley and sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Rose and James D. King.
The funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sarah and Hoover Pierce of Princeton, Essie Mae and Tom Anderson of Goldsboro, Jessie and Hudson Waters of Goldsboro; her brother-in-law, Vernon Worley of Matthews; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today at 1:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Casey Funeral Home.
