MARTHA CARSON
Martha Graham Carson, 81, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. The Rev. Jay Winston will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Carson retired from the Veterans Hospital as a registered nurse. She was the widow of Ray O. Carson, who owned and operated Ray's Farm Supply, and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Martha C. Wise of Goldsboro; a son, Ned O. Carson of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends this evening at the home of Martha C. Wise, 200 Tonya Drive, Goldsboro, and at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.
