EUGENE BEST
Eugene Best, 65, of West Oak Street in Selma, died Thursday at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.
He was a native of Johnston County and was the son of the late Richard Allen and Ruby Edwards Best.
He is survived by a brother, Allen Ray Best of Smithfield; two sisters, Raemell Hines of Princeton and Peggy White of Terre Haute, Ind.; and a son and two daughters and their children.
No formal services will be held.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 7 at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton.
