PINK HILL -- Martin Greg Johnson died Monday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howard-Carter Funeral Home. The Reverends Jimmie Williams and Rick Vernon will officiate. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Johnson was an Eagle Scout and was a graduate of South Lenoir High School. He received a degree in forestry from Wayne Community College and was involved with the family farming operation, K.W. Jones Farms Inc. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Jones Johnson of the home; his parents, Judy and Mickey Johnson of Kinston; his maternal grandmother, Flora W. Martin of Kinston; and one sister Nicole Sugg of Snow Hill.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, c/o Denise Stroud, 236 Jonestown Road, Pink Hill, N.C., 28572.
