PATRICIA CROSS
Patricia Leah Cross, 80, of 203 Brookwood Drive, died Friday at her home.
A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Voigt Sutton and Ruby Hobbs Sutton Smith. Mrs. Cross retired from the newspaper, the Augusta Chronicle, in Augusta, Ga.
No formal services will be held.
Mrs. Cross is survived by her daughter, Caroline C. Daughtrey and husband, Erik, of Durham; her sisters, Ruby S. Norris and husband, William, of Goldsboro and Joanna S. Fogle and husband, Lee, of Durham; and a special cousin, George W. Williams Sr. of Dunn; and a niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834; or the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 27985, Raleigh, N.C. 27611.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Goldsboro.
