NOVELLA SCOTT
The funeral for Novella Carraway Scott will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Community Church of Christ. Minister E.E. Blair will deliver the eulogy.
Mrs. Scott was a native of Wayne County and was a member of Dillard High School Class of 1954. She was known as an excellent cook and had operated several businesses including The Zodiac Lounge, Crispy Fried Chicken and The Steak Palace.
She is survived by one son, Willie James Carraway of Goldsboro; three daughters, Belinda Joyce Carraway of Goldsboro, Gwendolyn Scott Massenburg of Chicago, Ill, and Karen Scott Dean of Greensboro; one brother, Amos McKinney of Dudley; two sisters, Geraldine Raynor and Annie Pridgen of Goldsboro; and six grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be today from 1 until 6 at McIntryre Funeral Home Ministries.
