WILBURN GORRELL
Wilburn Franklin "Bud" Gorrell, 88, of Greystone Drive, died Saturday morning at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
He was born in Celene County, Mo., to the late Frank and Emma Kleen Forrell.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park with full military honors.
Mr. Gorrell is survived by his wife, Pauline "Polly" Tadlock Gorrell of the home; two sons, Wayne Gorrell of Oklahoma, and Frank Gorrell of Las Vegas, Nev.; three stepsons, Danny and wife Lana Tadlock, Don and wife Pat Tadlock of Goldsboro, and Tim and wife Barbara Tadlock of Dunn; two stepdaughters, Audrey and husband Carroll Langston of Wilson Mills, and Betty and husband Al Brantley of LaGrange; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 until 8 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
