FONNIE BELL BEST
FOUR OAKS -- Fonnie Bell Best, 89, of 106 Vaden Best Rd., died Friday.
The funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at Selah Christian Church, with the Rev. Patrick Muston officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Best was preceded in death by her husband, Vaden J. Best, and one brother, Hallie Smith.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice and husband, Isom Tucker, of Goldsboro; one son, Everette J. and wife, Rosie Best, of Four Oaks; three grandchildren, Denise and husband, Tim Harvey of Sandston, Va., Linda Best of Greenville, N.C., and Christie and husband, Brian Vinson, of Goldsboro; one great-grandchild, Michael Saunders of Sandston, and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Saturday at the funeral home.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Selah Christian Church.
