MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Sallie Lee King, 79, of 416 E. Hillsboro St., will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at St. Luke Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ. Pastor Steven C. Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.

Mrs. King died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Ison and Gertrude Phillips and was a retired employee of Mount Olive Pickle Plant.

She is survived by three sons, L.B. King and Ray King of Mount Olive and Charles King of LaGrange; four daughters, Laddie Moore and Bessie Simmons of Mount Olive, Geraldine Faison of Camden, S.C., and Margaret King of Goldsboro; one sister, Ora Bell Tyson of Kenly; and 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence.

The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 today at Garris Funeral Home.
