HERBERT LYNN
MOUNT OLIVE -- Herbert Horace Lynn, 89, of 1586 Summerlin Crossroads Road, died Thursday at his home.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pink Hill Funeral Home in Pink Hill. The Rev. Maynard Quinn will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lynn.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Herring Lynn; five daughters, Ann Hall and husband, J.W., of Mount Olive, Janice Summerlin and husband, Sonny, of Mount Olive, Linda Lynn Bennett of Mount Olive, Jean Jones and husband Skeet of Albertson, and Brenda Fields of Boston, Mass.; two sons, Billy Ray Garner of Beulaville and Donald Lynn and wife Judy of Hopewell, Va.; and 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home, and other times at the home of J.W. and Ann Hall.
