MACKIE J. ROBINSON

CLINTON -- Mackie Lee Jackson Robinson, 73, of 120 Southwood Drive died Saturday in Mary Gran Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be held Monday night at 7 from the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Shook officiating. Burial will be Tuesday morning at 11 in Grandview Memorial Park.

Born in 1930 in Sampson County, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Jasper and Mattie Hill Jackson. She was the widow of Paul Robinson. She was a house-mother at East Carolina University from 1989-1992, worked at Clinton Medical Clinic, and after that served as a health care provider for many people.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna R. Raynor of Wilson; one sister, Esther Giddens of Newton Grove; one brother, Frank Jackson of Newton Grove; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Robinson; three sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive friends following the service at Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
