EVA ROBINSON
HARRELLS -- Eva Murphy Robinson, 79, died Monday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Byrds Chapel Baptist Church, Rose Hill. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson was a native of Duplin County. She was the daughter of the late John H. and Mamie Harvey Murphy and was the widow of Sam Robinson.
Her survivors include five daughters, Elma Pearson of Philadelphia, Pa., Dixie Bryant of New York, Deloris Newkirk of Jacksonville, Janet Morrisey of Fayetteville and Wanda Gardner of Roseboro; five sons, Billy Robinson of Mount Olive and Thomas Robinson, Walter Robinson, Danny Robinson and Richard Robinson of Harrells; and 47 grandchildren and 74 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Matthew Funeral Service in Wallace.
