KAY LIVINGSTON

Ellen Kate "Kay" Livingston, a former resident of the Kirkwood Retirement Home, died Tuesday while receiving care at the Britthaven Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born in Lee County to the late William Henry McMillan and Ellen Ethelene Johnson.

Mrs. Livingston was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro where she was a member of the Church Choir, the III Century Singers and the Presbyterian Women and was made an Honorary Life Member of the Church in 1998.

She is survived by her son, Walter Livingston of Goldsboro, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro. The Rev. Ryan Rasmussen will officiate. Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will be receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 1101 E. Ash St., Goldsboro N.C., 27530; or to Kirkwood Residents' Council, 2710 Langston Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
