RUBY L. PARKER

Funeral services for Ms. Ruby L. Parker will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Scotty Rodgers will officiate. Interment will follow Old Mill Cemetery.

Ms. Parker died Thursday.

She was born in Lenoir County and was the daughter of the late Clarence D. Parker and the late Mattie Grady Parker. Ms. Parker was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Annette Parker Flowers, Debra Ann Parker and Elliot Parker Bryant, all of Goldsboro; one son, Maurice T. Parker of the home; five sisters, Polly A. Parker of LaGrange, JoAnn Parker of Goldsboro, Margaret Parks of LaGrange, Irene Parker Wade of Kinston and Shirley Parker of New Jersey; five brothers, Jimmy Parker of Snow Hill, Raymond Parker of Goldsboro, Jesse Parker of Pennsylvannia, Thelroy Parker of Goldsboro and Richard Parker of Goldsboro; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Preston Parker; and one sister, Mary E. Davis.

A wake will be held Monday from 7 until 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home.
